Description: The area north of the Port of Fujairah is a designated zone for accommodating Oil Storage Terminals. This area, further referred to as Fujairah Oil Industrial Zone (FOIZ), is subject to rapid expansion due to the increasing demand for oil storage capacity in recent years. The bunker market is a driving force in the business. FOIZ intends to construct access bridges for each of the terminals to assure uninterrupted access to the FOIZ terminals even during laying and maintenance of oil and service pipes.

Fujairah Airport Tunnel Project (Phase 3)

Location: Fujairah – UAE
Description: Construction, Completion, Maintenance and Guarantee of Fujairah Airport Tunnel Phase 3 works in 2 parts: 1st is at the North and South end and between Merashid-Rughaylat road junction, continuing South through FIA tunnel up to Fujairah-Sharjah border and extending further towards east up to Abattoir and towards west up to Al Hayl first roundabout.

Fujairah Airport Tunnel Project (Phase 1 and 2)

Year: 2020 – 2021 (Completed)
Client: Emiri Court
Location: Fujairah – UAE
Description: The airport tunnel is approximately 540 m in length from the north ramp to the south ramp and accommodates dual lanes each way. The Phase 1 and 2 Scope of Works is to carry out civil works for the construction of approximately 500.02 m of tunnel length and includes the north and south portals.

Foundation engineering and pile driving

As an essential precondition for suitable construction, a foundation forms a crucial element in any type of building and therefore requires special attention. The interaction between soil and structure consists of a complex exchange of mutual stresses between the structure itself and the foundations ground. The field of foundation and geotechnical engineering is one of the specialisms of MUC Engineering. Besides an excellent theoretical background we bear a wide practical experience through numerous geotechnical projects in various types of soils, including geotechnical engineering in very soft soils and in seismic areas.

We have profound knowledge of all types of foundations including innovative systems. However, the detailed design of pile foundations including pile driveability studies, piling supervision and pile capacity analyses are our specialism. We further execute various studies in the geotechnical engineering field such as settlement analyses, slope stability analyses and bearing capacity analyses.
