Coastal and River

MUC Engineering has worldwide experience in projects involving Coastal and River Engineering. Efficient solutions for challenges in this field require an integrated approach and the appreciation that every project is unique.

We provide practical solutions for the most challenging of problems, whether that is finding a way to protect communities from flood or devising methods to maximize the precious water resource for the competing and often conflicting needs along the river.

When developing sustainable solutions to Coastal and River problems we place a high importance on understanding physical processes. Our specialist services in this area include the design of breakwaters and revetments, wave climate studies, coastal hydrology and scour protections. MUC Engineering does not only have experience with the theoretical aspects of hydraulic engineering, but is also familiar with the practical aspects of bed, bank and shore line protection projects.
